Medical Records & Bills Coordinator

100% Virtual (Colorado) · Part-Time

Compensation: $23/hour

Your Good Luck Starts Here

At Flanagan Law, we’ve built a reputation as the good luck charm for Colorado car accident victims: the firm that swoops in, takes the chaos off their plate, and gets them the outcome they deserve. And behind every winning case? A team that runs like a well-oiled machine.

We’re not just any personal injury firm. We’re a boutique, woman-owned practice where every client speaks directly with their attorney, where healthcare comes before everything else, and where we give back to the community with every case we win. Luck doesn’t just happen here. We make it.

Now we need your luck on our team.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, organized, and dependable Medical Records & Bills Coordinator to join our virtual team. This is a focused, mission-critical role that keeps our cases moving forward and our clients protected.

You’ll be the keeper of the records, the tracker of every bill, and the person who makes sure every number adds up perfectly before settlement. Think of yourself as the four-leaf clover in our case management process: rare, valuable, and exactly what we need to land on the right side of every negotiation.

What You’ll Do

  • Order medical records from hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and specialists on behalf of our clients, accurately, promptly, and with persistent follow-through
  • Order medical bills from all treating providers to ensure complete documentation of every expense related to a client’s care
  • Verify balances owed on medical accounts, confirm lien amounts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy before settlement

This is a specialized, repeatable role, but the stakes are real. The records and bills you gather directly impact our clients’ settlements and recovery.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Experience in a medical office, law firm, insurance company, or healthcare administrative role
  • Familiarity with medical lien processes
  • Comfort working independently in a virtual environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, because errors here cost clients money
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and provider billing practices
  • Proficiency with email, case management software (Clio), and standard office software

What You’ll Love About Working Here

  • Fully virtual: work from anywhere in Colorado
  • Boutique firm energy: you’re a person here, not a headcount
  • Meaningful work: every record you pull helps a real person get what they deserve after a traumatic accident
  • A team that gives back: we donate a portion of every settlement to charity, and you’ll be part of that mission
  • Direct access to leadership: no corporate layers, no red tape

How to Apply

Think you’re our lucky find? We’d love to hear from you.

Use the application form below to send your resume and a brief note (no more than a paragraph) about why this role is a good fit. No cover letter required. Just tell us a little about your background and what draws you to this kind of work.

At Flanagan Law, we believe the right people on the right team is no accident. Could be luck. Could be fate. Either way, we’re glad you found us. 🍀
